Forum Title: Cabinet Doors And Drawerfronts. New MDF Beaded
Anybody seen samples or real of these? CNC-carved, pretty good emulation of a 5-piece style-rail-with-panel, looking particularly good when the panel is done to look like beadboard. The door-makers will either prime and paint them, or they will foil them, then give them a spray-wipe to look sort of antique. And of course, a whole lot cheaper than if done with solid wood. Should appeal to anyone who uses plywood (a manufactured engineered product using wood and glue), fibercement stuff (a manufactured product using whatever), Azek (extruded blown plastic made with byproducts of crude oil), and the framer's favorite subfloor, Advantech (an engineered manufactured panel using chipped up junk wood, urea formaldehyde, and other resins and stuff.) You cab dudes doing all that inset-front-stuff should really take a look at this.
